#ybyhy chains are handmade using genuine bola leather and handwired with beautiful genuine gemstones. Functional jewelry for sunglasses & eyeglasses each one made individually in Washington, DC.
I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Seattle, went to college in Claremont, California, and moved to DC in 2004.
While in college, I took my first jewelry making classes which lead to making and selling my own jewelry.
in 2014, after a couple of my friends lost or damaged their sunglasses at a 3 day music festival, I began making sunglass chains for myself and my friends. With the encouragement of those friends, I began making and selling jewelry again.
Currently I live in Logan Circle neighborhood of DC and I enjoy the creative process of making glasses chains and seeing my chain gang wearing my chains under the hashtag of my instagram handle ybyhy.

5 out of 5 starsThis chain is soooo chic and more beautiful in person. I was skeptical of the price but I know with the amount I now have to wear my glasses , the cost/per wear is worth it. I’m nearsighted and putting my glasses on my head was not working, now all I need to do is remember NOT to do that 🤣. Thanks so much to this seller for also sending a chain for 😷 Def recommend purchasing , love it!

5 out of 5 starsPurchased the Swarovski crystal skull sunglass chain. So classy and beautiful. Very well made! The Swarovski skulls are perfect size and shine in the sunlight. Not to big or heavy. The gold chain is made of good quality and my glasses look and fit comfortably when hanging. You can wear them either with your sunglasses or eyeglasses. Makes such a statement and so unique!
